FRAGMENTS OF THE FUTURE

In Fragments of the Future entwickelt Anja Kozik gemeinsam mit ihrem neuen Oxymoron Dance Team eine choreografische Arbeit über menschliche Transformationsprozesse. Die Produktion lädt zu einem Moment des Innehaltens ein und stellt die Frage: An welchem Punkt unserer Zeit befinden wir uns?

Ausgehend von dieser Suche entstehen bewegte Bilder über die Liebe – eine Liebe, die unmöglich scheint und dennoch als Sehnsucht bestehen bleibt. Was erwarten wir voneinander? Was verbindet uns? Und wie wollen wir künftig miteinander leben?

Erstmals eröffnet ein opulentes Bühnenbild den Raum für eine fremde, unbekannte Welt. Die Tänzerinnen und Tänzer erobern, entdecken, entzaubern und dekonstruieren diese Landschaft, um sie immer wieder neu zusammenzusetzen. Aus Zerstörung und Neubeginn entstehen Fragments oft he Future.

Fragments of the Future ist eine poetische Reise durch Wandel, Verlust und Hoffnung – ein Tanzstück über die Suche nach neuen Bildern des Miteinanders.

In Fragments of the Future, Anja Kozik, together with her new Oxymoron Dance Team, develops a choreographic work exploring processes of human transformation. The production invites audiences to pause and reflect, posing the question: At what point in time do we find ourselves today?

From this search emerge moving images of love – a love that seems impossible, yet endures as a longing. What do we expect from one another? What connects us? And how do we want to live together in the future?

For the first time, an opulent stage design opens up a space for a strange and unknown world. The dancers conquer, explore, demystify, and deconstruct this landscape, only to reassemble it again and again. Out of destruction and new beginnings arise fragments of possible futures.

Fragments of the Future is a poetic journey through transformation, loss, and hope – a dance piece about the search for new visions of togetherness.
